The Converse Chuck Taylor’s have been associated with rock and punk since The Ramones made them a standard stage presence back in the day. This year Converse will continue to honor their musical tradition with the release of the Converse Music Collection AC/DC and Metallica sneakers.

Why AC/DC and Metallica? I think it’s because they both represent hard rock/heavy metal American music to its fullest and two are the most iconic and recognizable bands from the day. Not only that, but the bands continue to make music in the present day.
