Nike has spent the past few weeks reminding us of Penny and the great player that he once was and the great sneakers that his shoe line continues to design. Meet the final model in the line, the hybrid Nike Air ½ Cent, inspired by all sneakers worn by Penny Hardaway including the Foamposite 1 and Air Max Penny II-IV.

The Nike Air ½ Cent displays an appealing blend of royal, black, and metallic silver with a translucent outersole and portrait of Penny on the sole. Fans of the Penny line that have purchased the sneakers for years will not be disappointed. The royal/black/metallic silver is a favorite colorway of mine and I’m sure consumers will agree. Nike outdid themselves with this hybrid and the portrait on the sole is the finishing touch on a great look.

The Nike Air ½ Cent will hit the market in March and is retailed at $190. It’s a little pricey for the average income, but probably will not hold back many sneaker buffs from purchasing a pair or two. Can’t wait until March?
